Website terms

These terms describe the conditions for using globalriskforum.com, published by The Global Risks Forum (GRF), a Swiss association, 6300 Zug, Switzerland. The site provides information about GRF's councils, dialogues, programmes and governance of the Nexus Universe programme, at the current service level, R0, information and enquiries. Using the site creates no membership, appointment, registration or agreement. These terms are a plain-language draft; the binding text, including governing law and jurisdiction, is the version approved by counsel under applicable law.

01What the site is

Information and enquiries, nothing more.

Purpose

Public information

The site describes GRF's role, programmes and rules, and the state of each service. It is not a transaction, registration or application platform.

Status

Information is not commitment

A page describing a programme, council or edition does not confirm a date, host, seat or admission. Only a record does, and pages say when one exists.

Boundary

No regulated service

GRF does not regulate, finance, procure or certify. Nothing on the site is legal, financial, investment or professional advice, or an approval of any project.

02Geography

Jurisdictions in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The jurisdictions that hold authority over this question: countries, their first-level divisions and capitals, shown for Latin America and the Caribbean as an example geography for this subject.

03Using the site

Conditions of use.

  • Use the site lawfully and in a way that does not damage it, interfere with others' use or attempt to bypass its security.
  • Do not present yourself as acting for GRF, a council or the Nexus Universe programme unless you hold that role on record.
  • Do not send unlawful, harmful or deceptive content to GRF addresses or through any enquiry form that appears on the site.
  • Reuse content only as the content rights notice allows.
  • Report security weaknesses to security@globalriskforum.com and share no exploit details until asked.
04Accuracy and liability

How GRF handles errors, and the limits of responsibility.

  1. 01

    Care and correction

GRF takes care to publish accurate information and describes things as confirmed only when a record shows them. Errors are corrected as recorded new versions through corrections and concerns.

  2. 02

    No reliance for decisions

Decisions about policy, operations, finance or safety remain with the competent institution. Programme information and published findings are evidence with stated limits.

  3. 03

    External links

Links to other sites, including the other pillar institutions and the Nexus Universe website, are provided for reference. Each site has its own terms and notices.

  4. 04

    Limitation

To the extent permitted by applicable law, GRF is not liable for loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

  5. 05

    Changes

GRF may update these terms. The counsel-approved version will show its effective date.

This notice is reviewed by counsel before publication. Until then it describes the intended practice in plain language and creates no rights or obligations beyond those that applicable law already provides.

06Questions

Questions and answers.

Does sending an enquiry create an agreement with GRF?
No. An enquiry receives a reference and a named next step. Any agreement is made separately, in writing, with the correct parties and scope.
Which law governs these terms?
The governing law and place of jurisdiction are stated in the counsel-approved version of these terms. This plain-language draft does not set them.
Can I rely on a programme date I read on the site?
Only where the page says a record confirms it. GRF publishes editions, hosts and dates only with an edition record, and missing information means it is not yet confirmed.
The Global Risks Forum

Start with an enquiry.

The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
