GRF · Universe at GRF

Independent Universe website

Universe has its own website, separate from globalriskforum.com, at the recorded canonical address universe.nexus. The Global Risks Forum (GRF) governs the programme; the website presents it. Below: what lives on each site, how to recognise the genuine address, and what to do about an impostor. The website does not mean an edition is on record.

03Verification

How to check you are on the genuine programme site.

  • Arrive through the gateway link on this page rather than a search result or a forwarded message.
  • Check the browser shows a valid certificate for the recorded domain.
  • Treat any request for payment, credentials or personal identity documents for participation with suspicion and report it to GRF.

Lookalike domains are a common phishing technique around events with registration. The corrections route accepts reports of impersonation.

Process

Independent Universe website: Programme through eight gates

GRF records eight yearly gates, each a programme decision; a gate not passed stops its work, and the competent authority decides outside.

  1. 01 Q1 · Planning

    1. 01G0 · Annual programme authorisedGate · The Global Risks ForumGRF authorises the annual mandate. It never sets a national agenda.
    2. 03Route the candidate mission to standardsStep · Nexus StandardsNexus Standards routes each candidate mission to the standards and profiles that apply.
  2. 02 Q2 · Readiness and build

    1. 04G1 · Missions admittedGate · The Global Risks ForumGRF admits missions with reasons recorded. It cannot admit a mission without an accountable owner.
    2. 05G2 · Data and resources qualifiedGate · The Global Risks ForumReadiness preparation closes when data, people and resources are qualified.
    3. 06G3 · Build accepted for exerciseGate · The Global Risks ForumGRF records whether the build is accepted for exercise. A gate not passed stops the work it governs.
  3. 03 Q3 · Action Week

    1. 07G4 · Controlled live operation authorisedGate · The Global Risks ForumGRF authorises controlled live operation for Action Week.
    2. 08G5 · Evidence sealed and stand-down recordedGate · The Global Risks ForumThe evidence is sealed with its provenance and the stand-down is recorded.
  4. 04 Q4 · Reporting and renewal

    1. 02Competent authority decides and actsActor · The competent authorityThe competent authority decides and acts under its own rules. The programme informs it and never decides for it.
    2. 09Scientific and editorial reviewStep · Reviewers and the publisherQualified, conflict-managed reviewers and the publisher decide what is accepted. Institutions cannot decide a scientific conclusion.
    3. 10G6 · Publication authorisedGate · The Global Risks ForumGRF authorises publication of results that have passed scientific and editorial review. It cannot publish personal data.
    4. 11G7 · Renewal reviewedGate · The Global Risks ForumGRF reviews renewal and sets the next cycle’s mandate.

The programme year · The Global Risks Forum · Decision rightsDesigned programme process, not a record of operation. No cycle has run and every programme is at service level R0. A gate is a programme decision, never a public-authority approval, certification or deployment authorisation.

06The genuine address

How to recognise the programme’s website.

Recorded origin

universe.nexus

The canonical origin is recorded as https://universe.nexus/. Links on GRF pages point only to that origin.

Other addresses

Not confirmed by GRF

Treat any other address presented as the programme’s website as not confirmed by GRF, however similar it looks.

Report

Tell GRF

If you find a site impersonating the programme, write to the integrity concern form with the address.

07Gateway rules

When GRF links outward.

  1. 01

    Recorded origin first

GRF links to the programme’s website only from an approved canonical origin that is on record. Until an origin is recorded, no outbound link is published.

  2. 02

    No invented addresses

No edition, mission or results address is linked unless the programme has published it at the recorded origin.

  3. 03

    Status travels with the link

A link to the website never implies that an edition, host or date is confirmed. Those are confirmed only by an edition record.

  4. 04

    Changes are announced

If the canonical origin ever changes, GRF publishes the change on news and institutional notices before updating links.

08Status

What the website does and does not show.

No edition is on record yet. Dates, hosts and locations appear only with an edition record, after the host’s authority and readiness are evidenced. The one-day stage is a planned stand-down; review and corrections continue afterwards. Questions on GRF’s governance of the programme: the contact form. Overview: the Universe gateway.

10Questions

Questions and answers.

Is universe.nexus run by GRF?
GRF governs the Universe programme, and the programme’s website at universe.nexus is its own presentation. Questions about governance go to GRF; this gateway explains GRF’s role.
Why does GRF keep pages about Universe on its own site?
Because GRF is accountable for governing the programme. The governance rules, gates and admission criteria are published where GRF can be held to them.
I found a different website for Universe. Is it genuine?
Only https://universe.nexus/ is recorded as the programme’s website. Treat any other address as not confirmed by GRF, and report it to the integrity concern form.
