Publication corrections

When a publication of The Global Risks Forum (GRF) is wrong, it is corrected in the open. This page is designed to list every correction to a GRF publication or dialogue record: what changed, why, when, and the version it replaced. A correction creates a recorded new version; it is never a silent edit. Anyone can request one, without membership or payment. No correction has been recorded yet, because no GRF publication has been released in the insights collections.

07Request a correction

Open to anyone.

Write to integrity@globalriskforum.com with the item, the passage and, where possible, a source. The acknowledgement gives a reference and names the next step. Requests are reviewed by the responsible editor or source owner, and a request that is not upheld is designed to receive a reasoned answer. Corrections to evidence published by The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) go to GCRI, and are listed on GCRI corrections and updates.

Corrections to public information never require membership, an account or a payment.

TermDefinition
CorrectionA published notice that amends an error in a work whose main findings stand.
Silent editA change to a published record made without a new version, notice or date.

10Questions

Questions and answers.

Why is this page empty?
Because no GRF publication has yet been released in the insights collections. Corrections are listed as soon as there is something to correct.
What if my correction request is not accepted?
You are designed to receive a reasoned answer. You can then raise a complaint, which is reviewed by someone not responsible for the original decision.
Does GRF correct dialogue records?
Yes. A dialogue record is corrected under the same rule, and the correction is listed here and on the record. See Dialogue outcomes.
Can I see the earlier version of a corrected item?
Yes. The correction entry is designed to identify the version replaced, and earlier versions remain available for reference with a clear label that they have been superseded.
Are typographical fixes listed?
Changes that do not affect meaning may be made without an entry. Any change to a fact, figure, attribution or conclusion is listed.
