Evidence and outcomes
Every Nexus Universe edition is designed to leave a trail of records, from the mandate to the published findings, so that anyone can see what was tested, what held, what failed and what was corrected. This page links to those records and to the Nexus Reports that publish reviewed results. It lists only records that exist. No edition is on record yet, so no edition record or results publication is linked here. When an edition is authorised, its records are added as each gate produces them.

The short answer.
Evidence and outcomes of Nexus Universe are the records each edition is designed to leave, from the mandate to the published findings, so anyone can see what was tested, what held, what failed and what was corrected. Reviewed results go to Nexus Reports, and no edition is on record yet.
Jurisdictions in the Nordic and Baltic region.

What each edition is designed to produce.

| Action week | Run, decision and observation records; after-action record | After review |
| Stand-down | Stand-down receipt, evidence manifest and open exceptions | After gate G5 |
| Publication | Reviewed findings, limitations and corrections | After gate G6 authorisation |
| Renewal | Renewal review and improvement items | After gate G7 |
What an exercise result can and cannot tell you.
An exercise result says how an arrangement behaved in a designed scenario with the people present. It does not predict performance in a real event, rank institutions or measure national preparedness. Results are therefore reported as observations against the arrangement's own assumptions, with the scenario's limits stated beside them.
| Statement type | Acceptable form |
|---|---|
| Observation | The escalation reached the receiving authority after the assumed time in this scenario |
| Finding | The protocol does not say who acts when the named holder is unreachable |
| Not acceptable | The country is unprepared for storms |
Following one mission from mandate to finding.
Each mission has a chain: proposal, admission decision, scenario version, exercise log, after-action report, lesson owners, and corrections if any. Reviewed findings move to Nexus Reports.
Nexus Reports carries reviewed findings.
Reviewed results are published through Nexus Reports, the programme's single governed publication programme. Scientific and editorial review is led by The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI); GRF authorises publication at gate G6. See GCRI's Nexus Reports programme and GRF's reports and publications relationship.
With limits
Each result states its scenario assumptions and limits. Simulated loss is not observed impact.
Kept on record
Failures, adverse findings and dissent are published, not dropped.
New versions
A correction creates a recorded new version; the earlier version is kept.
Records this page will not contain.
- Placeholder editions, dates or outcomes, or results that no reviewed record supports.
- Attendance figures, participant counts or impact claims without a source and date.
- Restricted data, personal information or security-sensitive detail.
- Rankings of countries or institutions. Nexus Reports is not a ranking.
Exercise results are evidence for competent institutions to use under their own authority. They are not binding findings, approvals or ratings.
Terms used on this page.
Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| After-action review | A structured review of what was planned, what happened and what should change, held after an exercise or real event. |
| Version of record | The fixed version of a work that a publisher formally declares published; later changes appear as dated corrections or new versions, never as silent edits, in the sense NISO's journal article versions recommendation uses. |
| Lessons identified | Findings from a review that have been recorded but not yet acted on, as distinct from lessons implemented. |
