Guinea Risks Forum
The Global Risks Forum – National Engagement Series: Guinea is a hybrid-format initiative led by NWG Guinea, an independent network of national experts, community leaders, and global collaborators. Functioning autonomously from the Government of Guinea and unaffiliated with any political entity, NWG Guinea serves as a neutral platform for advancing inclusive dialogue, risk innovation, and systems-based approaches to disaster risk reduction (DRR), disaster risk finance (DRF), and disaster risk intelligence (DRI).
This initiative aligns with the mission of the Global Risks Alliance (GRA) and Global Risks Forum (GRF)—a transnational ecosystem committed to anticipatory governance, cross-sector resilience, and digital transformation. The forum convenes stakeholders from the quintuple helix—academia, civil society, private sector, international actors, and public institutions (as stakeholders only)—to co-develop risk-informed and locally grounded strategies for sustainable development in Guinea.
Strategic Purpose
The Guinea edition is designed to:
- Enable nonpartisan, high-level dialogue on climate vulnerability, mining-related environmental risks, health systems, and food security;
- Integrate frontier technologies into national and regional resilience strategies, including early warning and sustainable resource governance;
- Support capacity-building for institutions and communities to manage compounding and cascading risks;
- Promote inclusive participation from youth networks, Indigenous communities, women leaders, and diaspora partners in co-developing solutions.
Forum sessions prioritize action—delivering simulation-based policy frameworks, anticipatory finance models, and co-governance systems rooted in equity, transparency, and long-term resilience.
Governance and Participation
All activities under NWG Guinea are independently designed and executed, in alignment with the frameworks and ethical standards of GRA and GRF. The forum is not affiliated with any political party, government, or lobbying organization, ensuring that its direction remains rooted in scientific rigor, ethical neutrality, and global solidarity.
Participation is open to academic institutions, community-based organizations, youth leaders, policymakers, technologists, private sector innovators, and international partners committed to shaping Guinea’s resilience pathways through inclusive and forward-thinking collaboration.
Join the Movement
We invite national and international collaborators to participate in the Global Risks Forum – Guinea Series as speakers, contributors, and co-creators. Together, we can develop anticipatory governance systems, inclusive finance mechanisms, and innovative technologies that reflect Guinea’s development goals and regional realities—while advancing a shared global mission for resilience, equity, and sustainability.
