01In brief

The short answer.

The Disaster and Crisis Governance community is the network of crisis governance scholars and emergency leaders who contribute expertise, review and data to its work on disaster and crisis as well as critical infrastructure. They take part through moderated subject groups and working groups. Rules apply equally to all, interests are declared, and taking part gives no authority over findings.

Specialist and institutional community: a working group from charter to sunsetA charter sets the question and the code of conduct; members join with declared interests; a workplan produces deliverables that are reviewed and credited; the group reports and sunsets or renews. Design of the process, not a record of a run.

03Geography

People and hazards in the Caribbean.

For specialist and institutional community, in GRF's situational-awareness reading, the map opens on population density, night lights and flood water, framed on the Caribbean; 2 further NASA layers wait in the list.

The interactive map needs JavaScript; the layer list and sources are below.
