Corrections and concerns
Anyone can challenge a public claim made by The Global Risks Forum (GRF), on this site, in a publication, a dialogue record or a notice. No membership, account or payment is needed. Each route is designed to reach the right reviewer, and a correction creates a recorded new version, never a silent edit. This page sets out what you can raise, where to write, who reviews it and what happens next. A request that is not upheld is designed to receive a reasoned answer rather than disappear.

The short answer.
Corrections and concerns at GRF is the route by which anyone can challenge a public claim made by the Forum, on this site, in a publication, a dialogue record or a notice, without membership, account or payment. Each route reaches the right reviewer, and a correction creates a recorded new version, never a silent edit.

Where to write, and who reviews it.
| Route | Where to write | Who reviews it |
|---|---|---|
| Correction or integrity concern | integrity@globalriskforum.com | The responsible editor or source owner; open to anyone |
| Programme or decision complaint | integrity@globalriskforum.com | Someone not responsible for the contested decision |
| Privacy and rights request | privacy@globalriskforum.com | GRF's privacy contact |
| Security report | security@globalriskforum.com | The security mailbox for this site; share no exploit details until asked |
| Safeguarding concern | safeguarding@globalriskforum.com | A restricted route, never handled in public |
What a reporter can expect.
| Stage | Expectation |
|---|---|
| Acknowledgement | A reference number and the name of the reviewing role |
| Assessment | A decision with reasons |
| Correction | Published with the changed text and date |
| Disagreement | The reporter may ask for review by a different person |
Borrowing from ombudsman practice.
Ombudsman institutions have shown that a complaint route is credible when it is independent of the person complained about, gives reasons and publishes patterns. GRF's route follows those principles at a scale fitting a small association.
From report to recorded outcome.
- 01
Write
Name the page, publication or record, quote the claim, and say why you think it is wrong or what concerns you. Use a clear subject line.
- 02
Acknowledgement
The acknowledgement gives a reference and names the next step.
- 03
Review
The reviewer checks the claim against its source record. A reviewer with a conflict does not handle the matter.
- 04
Outcome
If the request is upheld, the claim is corrected as a recorded new version stating what changed and why. If not, a reasoned answer explains the decision.
- 05
Appeal
A complaint about the handling of a correction is reviewed by someone not involved in the first decision.
Every kind of public claim.
Factual claims
A wrong date, name, status, figure or description on a GRF page or in a publication.
Overstated status
A claim that something is confirmed, open or established when no record shows it.
Conduct and capture
A concern that a participant, host or sponsor has influenced something they should not.

Start with an enquiry.
The current service level is R0: information and enquiries. An enquiry receives a reference and names the next step; applications, payments, compute allocations and registrations open only when their team, terms and review capacity exist.
