Registration for the Regional Consultation of the group of Africa States in preparation for the second part of the fifth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment

Registration of official delegations of Member States of the United Nations, Members of its specialized agencies and regional economic integration organizations to attend the regional consultations of the Africa states in preparation for INC-5.2 is submitted on this portal. Please click on the ‘Register now’ button below to register for the Regional Consultations of the Africa States in preparation for INC-5.2, scheduled to be held on 3-5 July 2025 at the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Kenya.
Each delegate will be required to register individually.
The following documentation and files must be uploaded in the INDICO registration at the time of the registration:

Copy of the Note Verbale or official letter from the relevant Ministry, Embassy, Permanent Mission or Organizations. The Note Verbal or official letter must clearly indicate the name and date of the regional consultation
A passport-size colour photograph (with white, grey, or neutral colour background).
The passport biographical page.

Please note that the review and verification process of online registrations may take up to 2 working days.
Please be informed that these are two separate processes:
(1) registration for the regional consultations and
(2) application for travel support
The delegates designated to receive financial support are requested to submit an additional application form to apply for funding through INDICO following the approval of their registration by following the second link and the process described in the email sent on 06 May.
The deadline for online registration is  13 June 2025, 23:59 East African Time.
Kindly be reminded that for those requesting travel support, the deadline is 30 May 2025.
