Building consensus towards a global definition of preeclampsia

The specific objectives of the meeting are:

to provide feedback on background documents that summarize the definitions of preeclampsia used in current global clinical practice guidelines and on the evidence supporting these as well as a review of the diagnostic accuracy of diagnostic tools
to discuss country perspectives on the components of the different definitions and on the availability and use of these elements at the country level and the feasibility of incorporating new ones.
to determine additional information needed to reach consensus on a global definition of preeclampsia;
to identify key implementation opportunities and challenges for strengthening preeclampsia diagnosis and next steps for implementation.
