The short answer.
Publishing in Nexus Reports is how Innovation Nexus findings reach the Consortium's versioned report series, here Exponential Technology. A contribution is a reviewed finding with its method, evidence labels and limits; series editors check scope and consistency, and no funder, sponsor or member can buy or block a finding.

Connected activity in Brazil.
Night-time lights and population density, the footprint of electrified, connected activity, framed on Brazil as an example geography for this subject; each layer is a dated NASA product.

What Innovation Nexus adds to Nexus Reports.
A chapter on adoption: which new tools for the edition's theme were trialled under governance arrangements, what the trials' public evaluations said and which oversight questions stay open. No product is named as better than another.

Terms used on this page.
Each term as this page uses it. Where a standard-setting body defines the term, the wording follows that body.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Editorial independence | The condition in which editors decide what is published on the validity and relevance of the work, free from interference by owners, funders or sponsors, as ICMJE and COPE guidance describe it. |
| Living report | A report updated in versions as evidence changes, with each version kept and dated. |
| Grey literature | Material produced outside commercial and academic publishing, such as reports, filings and working papers. |
| Version of record | The fixed version of a work that a publisher formally declares published; later changes appear as dated corrections or new versions, never as silent edits, in the sense NISO's journal article versions recommendation uses. |
