The Global Risks Forum

Convening · leadership · urgency

Not for profit

Our articles, maps and twins are free to read and free to republish. Readers and partners keep it that way.

Who funds us

GRF is a not-for-profit institution. To ask who funds a piece of work, use the funding questions form.

Independence

Editors and the expert reviewers named on each article decide what we publish. Funders and partners do not review or approve articles before publication.

Corrections policy

Articles: CC BY 4.0. Figures, maps, twins and data: CC BY 4.0. Other uses: ask through the permissions form.

This site uses strictly necessary cookies to work and to remember your privacy choices. With your permission it would also load content hosted by other services, such as videos, maps and fonts, which then receive your network address and device data. We do not sell or share your personal information and we run no advertising. Choose Accept all, Reject all or Customise. You can change your mind at any time through Privacy choices at the foot of every page.

Your rights and security

How we protect data

Every page is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
A protection network filters attacks before they reach the site.
Your privacy choices are recorded in this site’s own database, with a random ID and never your network address in readable form. Nothing is sent to an outside consent service.

How to complain

You can ask us first, and you can always complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
