The Global Risks Forum (GRF)
Capital Nexus is a specialist platform of The Global Risks Forum (GRF), a Swiss association with a public-good, not-for-profit purpose and one of the three pillar institutions of Nexus Consortiums. This page sets out the subject mandate of Capital Nexus, its publisher, its professional standing and its limits. See the Capital Nexus home page.
GRF · Established · service level R0
Capital Nexus is a specialist platform of The Global Risks Forum for development finance, sovereign and public finance, and financial stability. Its mandate covers capital-related institutional dialogue focused on risk-informed investment policy and public-good readiness, not finance execution. GRF publishes it, answers for its content and takes no decision on anyone's behalf. It is established and works at service level R0, information and enquiries.

Capital governance briefs and records of resilience finance dialogues.
Capital Nexus examines the rules that govern money for resilience: who sets the triggers of pre-arranged finance, how public development banks decide risk appetite for adaptation, how sovereign debt instruments treat disasters and how loss and damage funds are accessed. It is a governance forum. It does not arrange, allocate, price or recommend any investment.
GRF is the responsible publisher of globalriskforum.com and its specialist platforms, including Capital Nexus. It answers for content, for the conduct of dialogues it convenes and for corrections. Editorial coverage of each topic requires named subject review, references and relevant independent specialist voices, and dialogue records state who took part in what capacity.
Capital Nexus is an established platform. Its existing community and published root are preserved, and its activity is substantiated by audit before it is described here. The current service level is R0: information and enquiries.

Finance-sector understanding of the same subjects is built by The Global Risks Alliance (GRA), for example on Development Finance Nexus, and research by The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) on Economic Development.
