Nexus Leadership
Over the next decade, the Nexus Ecosystem will help governments, markets, and communities handle overlapping climate, health, cyber, and financial risks. The Leadership Councils are how we bring senior leaders into that architecture—safely, coherently, and with shared rules of the road. Issued by GCRI Canada as host of the Nexus Council Bureau (NCB), the Leadership Councils framework is the single source of truth for how evidence, governance, and capital work together on the Nexus Rail. NCB acts only as a vetted registry and data processor—not a governing body—but it curates the core concepts, roles, and mechanisms for GCRI, GRF, GRA, NSF, and the Regional Nexus Consortia
How the Nexus Ecosystem fits together
The Leadership Councils sit on top of a coherent public-interest stack. As a Council leader you help run the rail itself.
The Global Centre for Risk & Innovation
Frontier risk science, sovereign data zones, UNOSINT pipelines, and settlement-grade Assurance & Evidence Packs.
The Global Risks Forum
Swiss nexus steward for RNC rulebooks, CL/EQL conformance, and open intelligence standards bounded by rights and law.
The Global Risks Alliance
Market bridge that prices, binds, and settles Nexus programmes into compliant portfolios, facilities, clauses, and risk pools.
Leadership Councils
Single, vetted pool for SLBs, RSBs, Boards, and Nexus governance roles across evidence, standards, and capital.
Risk Rails
Weeks not years: settlement-grade intelligence to transparent payout mechanisms under Nexus Ecosystem.
RNC hinge
Regional Nexus Consortia co-design, co-govern, and co-deploy with governments, markets, academia, civil society leadership.
JOIN GCRI COUNCIL
Evidence, platforms, and risk innovation with tight governance on AI and intelligence.
- Shape what the evidence rail must deliver in your domain and region—what counts as settlement-grade and where the gaps are.
- Guard the boundaries of acceptable AI and intelligence use: auditable, explainable, contestable, and aligned with sovereignty and rights.
- Help co-design pilots, observatories, and Nexus Competence Cells with RNCs, NWGs, and CERTs.
What you steward
Evidence integrity, Nexus platform safety, and rapid deployment of high-grade intelligence to lawful decision makers.
JOIN GRF COUNCIL
Standards, RNCs, and open intelligence aligned with sovereignty and rights.
- Help design and enforce the rulebook for Regional Nexus Consortia so they remain legitimate, resilient to capture, and accountable.
- Co-govern UNOSINT and Nexus standards so that intelligence remains open, auditable, and bounded by law, ethics, and human rights.
- Align GRF registries and playbooks with human-rights frameworks, environmental safeguards, and data/AI regulation.
What you steward
Legitimacy of Nexus standards, conformance tiers, and RNC governance—keeping intelligence open and lawful.
JOIN GRA COUNCIL
Risk and resilience capital architecture that fits prudential regimes without hidden transfer.
- Turn evidence-based programmes into investible, executable portfolios, facilities, and risk pools with RNCs.
- Ensure Nexus instruments fit prudential and conduct regimes (Basel, Solvency, IFRS, EU rules) without hidden risk transfer.
- Help avoid over-financialisation and extractive structures, keeping capital aligned with the Earth Cooperation Treaty.
What you steward
Trusted pathways from Nexus evidence to capital flows, with transparent payout clocks, escrow, and priority-of-payments.
Council status is vetted through the Nexus Council Bureau (NCB). It is not statutory corporate membership and does not automatically confer Board seats—but it is the primary pool for Chairs, Boards, SLBs, RSBs, and UNOSINT and RNC governance roles.
How it works
Structured, auditable onboarding from discovery to placement across GCRI, GRF, and GRA.
Download the Leadership Councils Pack
Read the master PDF issued by GCRI Canada as host of NCB—it explains Nexus Rail, the Earth Cooperation Treaty, GCRI/GRF/GRA, RNCs, and the full L1–L6 stack.
NCB vetting & onboarding
Complete the secure onboarding pack: KYC/AML, conflicts, fit-and-proper, codes of conduct. NCB acts as the neutral data processor and registry.
Placement & engagement
You are onboarded into working groups, SLBs, RSBs, or RNC roles. Over time, NCB and BoTs may propose you for committee, Chair, or Board appointments.
