DESCRIPTION:Background\nOpen science, as emphasised in the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, promotes inclusive, transparent, and collaborative research practices, ensuring that scientific knowledge is accessible to all. As global adoption accelerates, monitoring becomes essential to assess impact, identify gaps, and strengthen implementation strategies.\nLaunched in September 2022, Open Science Impact Pathways (PathOS) is a three-year, European Union-funded project dedicated to identifying and measuring the multifaceted impacts of open science. This conference, Open Science: Monitoring Progress, Assessing Impact, is organised in collaboration with UNESCO, PathOS, the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Track, theOpen Science Monitoring Initiative (OSMI), and OpenAIRE. It marks the culmination ofPathOS, providing a platform to share insights, validate findings, and support the advancement of the principles outlined in the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science. The event also aims to foster collaboration across diverse initiatives.\nRegistration for online and in-person participation\nDue to limited venue capacity and high demand, in-person registration will be restricted.\nIn-person: Please click the “Registration” button located either on the left side or at the bottom of the page.\nOnline: To join the event online via Zoom, please complete your registration separately for Day 1 and Day 2.\nFurther information\nMore details, including information on the conference agenda, and additional resources, will be made available soon.\nPlease note that doors will close 30 minutes after the event’s start time.
